Summary:
QX-D gasoline octane number diesel hexadecane number tester is used for mechanized troops, petroleum refining enterprises, oil storage and oil regulating units to quickly determine: automotive gasoline, aviation gasoline and ethanol gasoline octane number, diesel hexadecane number handheld special instrument. This instrument adopts miniaturized and humanized design. It is a handheld instrument with simple operation, fast measuring speed, high precision and wide range. The four technological innovations are as follows:
1. The sensor signal adopts digital transmission technology, with strong anti-interference ability, small variation and high precision: reproducibility and repeatability.
2. The calibration program of the instrument is automatic value assignment and calibration, which adopts rigorous mathematical model and can be automatically assigned and calibrated by measuring operation. The program is simple, scientific and accurate.
Users can do their own calibration maintenance, convenient for users.
3. The automatic regression of measurement procedure is based on the rigorous mathematical model, by means of high-precision sensor and electronic measurement technology and ASTM -- CFR testing machine test results as the standard sample, targeted automatic regression is conducted to improve the measurement accuracy and range.

Working principle:
The octane number of gasoline and cetane number of diesel oil are derived by measuring the dielectric constant of oil components.
