After the sample is soaked through the required solution, a certain amount of soaking liquid is taken, placed in an evaporating dish which is preliminarily dried in a high temperature oven to a constant amount, evaporated to dryness in a water bath, dried in an oven at a high temperature, weighed, dried, and then dried. Weigh until constant weight. The weight minus the mass of the empty dish is the evaporation residue.
