    Introduction:
    In the distribution or power generation system, once an arc short circuit fault occurs, the longer the duration of the arc light, the more serious the damage to electrical equipment or the environment, the higher the maintenance cost in the later stage, and the longer the time required to restore power supply. Therefore, the arc light protection device should identify and eliminate the fault as quickly as possible. It is generally believed that within 80ms is an acceptable time.
    Electric arc protection devices can be divided into two types: simple and comprehensive. The simple type refers to the device's action based only on the arc criterion, while the comprehensive type refers to the device's action based not only on the arc criterion but also on the current criterion.
