TWP-W102 Air Specific Heat Ratio Tester Introduction: This instrument uses adiabatic expansion method to measure the specific heat capacity ratio of air, which is mainly used for the experimental teaching of general physical thermodynamics and thermodynamics in colleges and universities. Because the instrument uses diffused silicon gas pressure sensor to measure air pressure, and current integrated temperature sensor to measure air temperature, and the characteristics and sensitivity of silicon gas pressure sensor are measured by students themselves. The instrument has advanced design, safe and reliable structure, and high accuracy of experimental results. Students can observe thermodynamic phenomena in depth and master the basic laws of thermodynamics through experiments. The instrument is mainly composed of three parts: chassis (including two digital voltmeters and one gas pressure gauge), gas storage cylinder and two sensors (one current mode integrated temperature sensor AD590 and one diffusion silicon pressure sensor) Experiment items: 1. Determine the specific heat capacity ratio of air with adiabatic expansion method. 2. Observe the state changes and basic physical laws in the thermodynamic process. 3. Learn to use standard pointer pressure gauge to calibrate gas pressure sensor. 4. Learn the principle and usage of gas pressure sensor and current type integrated temperature sensor. Technical parameters: Gas cylinders: including glass bottles, air intake pistons and rubber stoppers. Digital voltmeter: three and a half digit voltmeter is used as the secondary instrument of silicon pressure sensor (measuring air pressure), and four and a half digit voltmeter is used as the secondary instrument of integrated temperature sensor (measuring air temperature). Diffusion silicon pressure sensor: equipped with a three and a half digit voltmeter, its measuring range is 0-10kPa higher than the ambient pressure, its sensitivity is about 20mV/kPa, and its accuracy is 5Pa. During the experiment, the variation range of air pressure in the gas cylinder is about 0-6kPa. The air temperature measurement adopts the current mode integrated temperature sensor AD590. The semiconductor temperature sensor has high sensitivity and good linearity, and its sensitivity is 1uA/℃. Buzzer: When the pointer of the gas pressure gauge is close to the full range, the buzzer will give an alarm.
