TIME2190 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge Introduction
TIME2190 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge adopts the principle of pulse reflection measurement, which is suitable for measuring the thickness of various materials. The instrument sends ultrasonic waves through the probe at a constant speed to propagate inside the material, and receives reflected waves on its bottom surface.
This instrument can accurately measure various plates and processed parts, and is widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, shipbuilding, aviation, aerospace and other fields.
The principle of ultrasonic thickness measurement is similar to that of light wave measurement. The ultrasonic pulse emitted by the probe enters the measured object and propagates inside the object. When it reaches the interface of the material, it is reflected back to the probe. By accurately calculating the propagation path of the ultrasonic wave in the material, the thickness of the measured material can be inferred.
