    Introduction:
    The LD-5C laser dust detector adopts the principle of laser detection. The outside air of the detector enters the suction port, the coarse particles are removed by the labyrinth cutter, the external light is shielded, and the detector enters the dark room of the detector. The parallel light in the dark room crosses the field of view of the light-receiving part at right angles to form a sensitive area (the oblique line in the figure). When the dust passes through the sensitive area, the scattered light in the 90°C direction is injected into the photomultiplier tube through the slit and converted into photocurrent. It is converted into the number of pulses per unit time that is proportional to the scattered light by the photocurrent integration circuit. Therefore, the relative mass concentration of dust can be obtained by recording the number of pulses per unit time. Applicable places of this instrument: dust detection on the production site of industrial and mining enterprises; determination of total atmospheric dust concentration; occupational hygiene respirable dust PM10/PM2.5; continuous online monitoring of dust concentration in construction and construction sites; inhalable particulate matter in public places (PM10, PM2.5) and rapid and online detection of atmospheric dust from environmental monitoring departments.
