The Cup Convex Tester is a desktop unit with a cast iron body and a cylindrical test head. To perform a cup convex test, place the template through the opening into the test head, with the coated side facing up. Turn the handle clockwise to clamp the template. Pull the fixed needle out from the fixed sleeve and rotate the test head clockwise to start the tensile test. When the coating breaks, the test ends. Depth can be read directly from the digital counter. Throughout the test, the formation of cracks in the coating was observed by looking down at the die holder section. For a more accurate visual inspection of the cracking of the coating during the test, a special microscope with a battery light can be used. Features:
