HSY-2406 Oxygen Index Tester Introduction
The HSY-2406 Oxygen Index Tester is an instrument manufactured according to the technical conditions specified in the national standard GB2406-93. It is used to determine the concentration (volume percentage) of oxygen required for the polymer during combustion. The oxygen index value of the polymer is the volume percentage of the lowest oxygen in the oxygen and nitrogen mixed gas required to maintain a combustion of 50 mm or a combustion time of 3 minutes after the substance is ignited. The instrument has simple structure and convenient operation, and can be used as a means for identifying the combustion performance of the polymer, and can also be used as a related research tool to obtain a good understanding of the combustion process of the polymer. The instrument is suitable for testing the burning performance of plastics, rubber, foam and other materials, and the measurement result is accurate and the reproducibility is good. It is an indispensable test equipment for research and production of flame retardant materials.
