The extraction of organics in complex samples is often a weak link in modern sample preparation. The analytes such as PAHs and PCBs are prone to strong adsorption with sample particles, resulting in the failure of conventional laboratory extraction methods. The classic extraction methods in the laboratory, such as Soxhlet extraction, have large solvent consumption and long extraction time, and are often criticized by experimenters for their low efficiency.
Based on this, Ruike HPFE high-throughput pressurized fluid extraction instrument uses a high-pressure physical environment to increase the boiling point of the solvent. Under high temperature environment, the diffusivity and solubility of the target compounds have been greatly improved, so that the extraction time is reduced from a dozen hours of Soxhlet extraction to 15-30 minutes, and the solvent consumption is reduced from the original 200mL to 20 ~ 50 mL can greatly improve the extraction efficiency and reduce the extraction cost.
