FX-100ST floating bacteria sampler Introduction
The air suction flow rate of the FX-100ST is 100 liters per minute. Up to 9999 liters of air can be collected per acquisition cycle. This performance allows sampling to be performed under strict requirements for monitoring sterile and clean rooms. The impact velocity (the speed at which microorganisms in the air hit the surface of the agar) is approximately 10 m/s, which is equivalent to 5 grades of the Andersen sampler. The basic principle of the FX-100ST is a high performance instrument. Using the principle of the Andersen air sampler, the air is drawn through a porous cover (465 x 0.6 mm) and the microorganisms in the gas stream impinge on the surface of the agar medium attached to the standard culture dish. After the sampling period is completed, the culture dish is placed under appropriate conditions and the total number of colonies is determined. Features
