Introduction: The DM601 inclinometer is a special instrument for measuring the horizontal displacement and displacement of deep layers of rock and soil foundations. The high-precision MEMS silicon micro-electromechanical system sensor is used as the core device. It is widely used in the measurement of lateral displacement of various rock and soil foundations, such as water conservancy dams, embankments, excavation of foundation pits for urban construction, landslides, railways, highway slopes, port construction, power construction and various underground structures. The whole set of instrument is composed of portable probe, special cable, reading instrument, data communication & processing software, etc. Portable instrument probe is the core of the inclinometer and the source of the test signal. Imported MEMS silicon micro-electromechanical system chip is used in the probe. As a sensor, it has high long-term stability, excellent temperature characteristics, high resolution, low noise, wide operating temperature range, digital SPI or analog output, strong shock resistance, and completely eliminates the problem of vibration resistance. There are two sets of guide wheels on the top and bottom of the measuring head, which is convenient for lifting and sliding along the guide groove of the inclination measuring pipe. When the probe is in the vertical state, the sensitive axis of the sensor is at the zero position, and the output signal value at this time is called the zero offset. In general, the zero offset always exists: in order to eliminate the influence of the zero offset, two positive and negative subtests, taking the algebraic sum, as the test result in one direction. In the actual test, in order to adapt to the general habits, according to the regulations of the probe, it is recommended that the user align the high wheel of the probe to the north or east as the positive direction of the test.
