BT-200 standard funnel method metal powder fluidity tester
Introduction: BT-200 standard funnel method metal powder fluidity tester (Hall flow meter) is an instrument developed by Dandong Baxter Instrument Co., Ltd. for testing the fluidity of metal powder. It complies with the national standard GB/T1482-2010 and the international standard ISO4490-2008. Any metal powder that can freely flow through a standard funnel with a diameter of 2.5 mm can be tested for fluidity with this instrument. Its basic principle is to judge the fluidity of the metal powder by measuring the time required for 50g of metal powder to flow through a standard funnel with a diameter of 2.5mm. The shorter the time, the better the fluidity of the powder and the longer it takes. The fluidity of the powder is worse. If a certain metal powder cannot flow through a small hole of 2.5mm, or can flow out intermittently after being gently tapped, it should be considered that the metal powder does not have fluidity. Steps: Instrument preparation: Place the BT-200 on a stable workbench, adjust the level, fix all parts, and adjust the stopwatch for later use. Sample preparation: Weigh 50g of sample (accurate to ±0.1g) and place it on smooth paper. Test method: Use the index finger of one hand to block the outlet of the standard funnel, hold the stopwatch in the other hand, pour the 50g sample on the smooth paper into the funnel, and start the stopwatch while releasing the finger that blocked the hole. Stop timing immediately after finishing and record the recorded time (accurate to 0.2s). Repeat test: Take three samples and repeat the test three times, record the time required from the beginning to the end of each flow, and calculate the average of the three recorded times. Technical Parameters: Outflow hole of funnel: 2.5mm Funnel angle: 60° Balance: 100g range, 0.05g accuracy; Stopwatch: The accuracy is 0.2s
