Simply operate the true density meter software and input sample information and testing conditions according to requirements to automatically test sample volume, density, solid content or porosity, and output comprehensive analysis results. The BetterPyc 380 is designed based on the gas displacement method, which is currently globally recognized for testing sample volume or density. Using the gas displacement method, samples are added to the sample chamber, sealed, and analyzed gas is introduced to measure the pressure of the sample chamber. Then, the expansion valve is opened to diffuse the gas into the expansion chamber, and the equilibrium pressure is measured. According to the gas law, the true volume of the sample is obtained, and the sample density, porosity, or solid content are calculated.
